My man Jimmy Pearce has provided me with my 26th photo journal for ONE with this tasty shot we got in Birmingham University. The fact it was taken over two years ago makes a interesting little story but by no means over shadows the spot or trick.

Clac #5 Joe Atkinson Interview Feature :-

After a very very long wait Clac issue five has been released with some brillant content. The issue features a interview with the northen terror that is joe Atkinson. I spent the best part of a week up in Leeds hanging out and shooting with Joe for this profile. Well stoked on getting the chance to shoot with such a talented skater and such a sound dude.

French Toast #9 Contents Page Feature :-

I totally forgot about this one, I had sent over a image I shot of Ryan doing a tuck no hander flair on the natural quarter in Basildon. It was the long shot version of the trick that made it as Scoot Nations cover shot for issue nine, and the version of the trick I preferred. So it was a nice surprise to fine a copy of French Toast with my post today and to see one of my favourite shot images ever as the contents page image of this issue. Stoked!

Scoot Nation #12 Features :-

I arrived back from the Grit/Crisp euro tour to find the latest Scoot Nation on my desk. A very welcomed view as I knew we had some great content in its pages and this was also the first issue in the new design that Tom had been working so hard on. The first piece that featured my images was the laced tricks section that featured the grinds i had shot of Matt Brown. Next up in the issue was a piece covering the history of crisp scooters and what was happening with it now. This featured some images of Matt brown of which we went out and shot down his local area. The last of my featured work in issue 12 could be found in the banger section. With some nice shots of Billy Kendal, Matt brown and Nathan Weston this wrapped up my content in another Issue of the best scooting magazine

Scoot Mag #12 Features

So issue 12 of Scoot Mag dropped onto my desk at work today. Pretty stoked on this issue as I knew it featured my images from the euro tour that lead us to ISPO. First up was a image of Danny I shot at Truespin in Belgium. The main featured was a mix of the best images that I had shot while we toured through Europe on route to Munich and the ISPO trade show.

Void Lifestyle Magazine issue 2

well it came around again and a lot quicker that anticipated, The second void magazine is now out to purchase after all the stress and worry of getting the content together. This time the process was a lot less stressful though, as this time around as the editor of the magazine I knew what to expect and what to do to pull all the content together in the best way. This issue features a profile on Nathan Weston, reviews on a load of Crisp gear, Billy Atkins low down on his local parks and a huge piece on the Euro tour. As with the first one, ninety percent of the images used are my own, still very proud of what we have accomplished with this project.

ONE Digital V.1 Picks Features

So its finally here and after hearing so much talk about it from Justin the first digital issue of ONE has dropped. Well worth the wait in my option as well as it looks and reads really well. Using ISSUU as the platform from which to view this on your phone, tablet or computer, the first issue brings you a Andrew Broom feature, coverage of Winterclash & BCSD and much much more. I’m stoked to say I have content featured in this first issue of which leads with this shot of Joe Atkinson I snapped back in July of last year. The second Image featured was a killer back torque by Nick Lomax while out on a weekend shoot with the manchester lads.

Scoot Nation #11 Features :-

Scoot Nation number 11 dropped on my desk a few days back and I’m very happy to see a large bundle of my own images featured in the magazine. First up is a shot I got of Ryan Signing a helmet while we was on tour in Scotland. The first feature in issue 11 to include my camera work was a full young bloods profile on now full pro for Grit, Billy Kendal. Really happy with how this profile turned out, me and Billy put allot of time and effort into it and I think that shows. Next up was a few shots in the ISPO article that covered the massive trade show that was held in Munich. This issue also featured a massive piece on the winter tour of Scotland that we did with a small team of the guys. Both the images and text help tell the story, both of which are my own work. Last but not least is the few images I managed to get into the bangers section. Billy Atkins and Jai Janssen feature here with tricks shot during our euro tour.

Wheel Scene Issue Eight Features :-

Issue eight of Wheel scene has finally dropped after quite the wait. the realitys of managing to producing a bi-monlthy magazine are all too clear, it cant be done. Still the magazine shall march on and continue to provid the reader with the best blading and music content for free. This is the first issue I’ve not really contributed to in a major way and I feel pretty terrible for it. The simple fact that I wasted time on getting a interview done on time is what lead to this, lesson learnt. Still i got a few images featured in the magazine which include my shots of the new ‘Lets Go Blade’ tee and a image I shot for a future tee that most decided wouldnt work. I mean who wants a dudes ass on their chest?

With issue twenty just about to drop, Justin has put issue nineteen up online for all to see. This issue holds a special place in my heart as within its pages is the first and only image I’ve had published in the hallowed pages of ONE. No easy feat when if you think about it, with the way things are we are lucky if two issues a year get published!

Sidewalk Magazine Advert Feature :-

During the end of last summer I met up with Cambridge based shredder Joe Hinson for a shoot. Milton Keynes was the location of choice and the three in a row was the spot. Joe is sick, don’t often get the chance to see, let alone shoot skateboarders who push themselves like Joe does. This is prob why Joe has picked up a few sponsors at such a young age. Lucky Edge decks is one of them and they have used one of the images from that shoot for an advert featured in Februarys Sidewalk Magazine. Pretty stoked on this, hopefully now I might be able to get some other stuff published in the magazine.

Scoot Nation #10 features :-

Scoot Nation number 11 has dropped and as is becoming the norm , features a lot of my photography. First in the magazine Billy Kendal wraps up his trick tips with some tips for some challenging tricks over a spine. Next up in issue 11 is the article that covered the short trip me, Ryan, Howard and Westy took to Barcelona during the festive season. Well worth a look as we got some great images out there and definitely made the most of our time in the european skate mecca. The Guys at Scoot Nation also used a number of the snap shots I got on my iPhone during the trip which I though added a nice extra angle to the article. The last article in this issue is the one that covered the Gritmas party that was held at Legacy XC in Essex. The event was a huge success and as the photos shows the guys really went for it. The last few images of mine featured in issue 10 of Scoot Nation was in the bangers section of the magazine. Kieran O’Reily notched up a nice wall ride while Academy winner Devon Low got his first magazine featured image with a tucked up flair.

A few weeks before Christmas, Grit Scooters invaded the Essex based park Legacy XC for our annual Christmas party. There was a fantastic turn out and every one had a great time, this is the coverage that Scoot mag gave that event that features my camera handy work.
